General Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATIONS
  1. Presenter must be a registered delegate (ISPPD Student Member or Life Member)
  2. Abstracts must be original and should not have been published or presented anywhere in the past.
  3. All the abstracts submitted by students must be authorized by the Head of the Department along with duly signed undertaking form. (Copy attached)
  4. Only one presenter is allowed for paper presentation.
  5. Two presenters are accepted for a poster presentation.
  6. Two presenters are accepted for a table clinic presentation.
  7. For Paper: The abstract should be submitted under one of the category: Original Research, Case Report and Systematic Analysis
  8. For Poster and Table Clinic: The abstract should be submitted under one of the category: Original Research, Case Report and Review
  9. The sub category is divided into:
    • Preventive Pediatric Dentistry
    • Restorative/Esthetic Dentistry
    • Pediatric Endodontics
    • Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics
    • Behavior management and Child Psychology
    • Full mouth Rehabilitation
    • Minimal Intervention Dentistry
    • Practice Management
    • Recent Advances
    • Miscellaneous
  10. Each session would have the “Best Presentation of the Session” award in the respective category of presentation.
  11. Only structured abstracts in the proper format for presentations would be accepted.
  12. Time limit for Paper Presentations: Faculty: 10 (8+2) min; Students: 8 (6+2) min.
  13. Time limit for Poster Presentations: Students: 5 (3+2) min.
  14. The poster must be in physical format with dimensions of 3ft × 4ft, in portrait orientation
  15. The paper/poster should not mention authors and affiliation details but must mention the scientific paper/poster code. Revealing the presenter or institutional identity will lead to disqualification from the competitive category.
  16. First year PGs can present only Poster.
  17. The abstract must be submitted along with the undertaking form after the member login.
  18. The scientific committee reserves the right to accept or reject any abstract.

  1. Language: English
  2. Font size: 12
  3. Font type: Times New Roman
  4. Spacing: 1.5
  5. Title: Should be as brief as possible and typed in sentence case
  6. The maximum word limit for the abstract should be 250 words.
  7. The abstract should be structured.
  8. Kindly submit the undertaking form along with the abstract that is duly signed by the HOD (only for students).
  9. Abstracts should be original and shouldn’t have been submitted anywhere else before.
  10. The undertaking form should be submitted in PDF format.
POSTER PRESENTATION: Abstract Presentation Guidelines
  1. Language: English
  2. Font size: 12
  3. Font type: Times New Roman
  4. Spacing: 1.5
  5. Title: Should be as brief as possible and typed in sentence case
  6. The maximum word limit for the abstract should be 250 words.
